The National Examinations Council (NECO) yesterday announced the extension of the registration for the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for school-based candidates to midnight of Monday, June 20, 2022.

NECO said the registration period was initially scheduled to close yesterday, May 30, 2022.

While announcing the extension in a statement, the council’s Head Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani said candidates would be examined in 76 subjects during the examination.

The statement urged state ministries of Education, principals, commandants of military secondary schools and all stakeholders to note that there would be no further extension after that.

It added that the 2022 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) will begin on June 27, 2022 and end on Friday, August 12, 2022.
