2023: Fani-kayode Taps Adamu As 22 APC Senators Threaten Defection

Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, who is the Former Minister of Aviation, has bemoaned the planned motives of some Senators of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who wish to decamp to other party.Track News Nigeria learnt that Fani-Kayode announced the intention of 22 senators who with the threats of dumping APC for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the main opposition party.While explaining the reason in a tweet, he said that the threats of dumping APC was as a result of their loss during the party’s primary election.He advised the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, to take action immediately to stop them by contacting them.He asserted that the ruling party can’t afford to lose the 22 senators ahead of the 2023 general elections.He wrote: “22 APC Senators are threatening to decamp to PDP because they have been denied the tickets to return to the Senate.“This is serious and something must be done to prevent it. Many are concerned and we urge our able National Chairman National . Secretary to reach them. We cannot afford to lose them.”
