Atiku urged the UK government to play a role in ensuring Nigeria’s 2023 election is free and fair, emphasizing the importance of the country’s democratic development.

“The bilateral ties between Nigeria and the United Kingdom have a rich history, which both countries should leverage to promote issues of mutual concern,” he said.

Concerning insecurity, he requested assistance from the British government, specifically through training of Nigerian security personnel and intelligence sharing.

On the economic front, Atiku emphasized the importance of eliminating multiple exchange rate regimes and lowering taxes to encourage genuine manufacturers and real investments.

The PDP presidential candidate also lamented the ongoing ASUU strike and the educational sector crisis.

He has promised to implement education reforms if elected President in 2023.
