Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,

Senator Dino Melaye, a former federal legislator, has berated Peter Obi, the presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party (LP), saying that he is not the best man to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Track News Nigeria understands that Melaye, a top campaigner of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said although Obi is “a good man”, he “lacks the capacity to unify Nigerians”.

“I celebrate you, Peter Obi, and I celebrate your movement for a new Nigeria.

“I want to advise that your time is not now. I have listened to your arguments, and I can say that 90% of your campaign is dwelling on reducing the cost of governance.

“The problem of this country is beyond that. It is less than 1% of our national problem. What we need today in this country is to unify this country [sic],” Melaye maintained in a video posted on his verified Facebook page.
