Ahead of 2023, a Nigerian professor of political science who was Nigeria’s External Affairs Minister from 1985 to late 1987, Akinwande Bolaji Akinyemi, says that the former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, is the foundation of the problem we have in this country, which is why we are not voting for the presidential candidate of the Labor Party, Mr. Peter Obi.

He further stated that when anyone has finished serving his term as president of Nigeria, he should go home and enjoy himself, not come and create more problems for the country.

According to him, Obasanjo has been president of Nigeria before; why won’t he leave the country for others to put in instead for him to create problems for the country? He is the foundation of the problem of this country, and that is why we won’t vote for Peter Obi, he said.
