2023 Presidency: Buhari Won’t Allow Tinubu Destroy Nigeria With His Bullion Vans

Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has advanced reasons why President Muhammadu Buhari will not support the 2023 presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tinubu though yet to officially declare or deny his intention for the 2023 presidency, is widely believed in political quarters to be getting ready to replace Buhari when the President’s tenure expires.

However, according to Adeyanju, should Tinubu decide to throw his hat into the ring for 2023, he won’t get the support of Buhari.

Adeyanju in his submission through a Facebook post said Tinubu will only ruin Nigeria and he doesn’t believe Buhari hates Nigeria that much to allow the APC stalwart to take over from him.

Making allusion to the Bullion vans seen entering Tinubu’s Ikoyi Bourdillion residence in Lagos State on the eve of the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria, Adeyanju stressed further that the politician will just sell Nigeria to himself if he becomes president.

“No matter how bad we think Buhari is, I don’t think he will allow a Tinubu misfortune to befall Nigeria.

“Buhari may hate Nigeria but I don’t think he hates the country that much. Tinubu will not only use Bullion Vans to destroy the country, he will sell the Republic to himself,” he wrote on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe has said the party will teach people a lesson in 2023.

2023 is a politically anticipated year in Nigeria as it will usher in a new President for the country who will take over from Muhammadu Buhari while lawmakers and many state governors will either bow out or test their popularity at the polls again.

Ahead of the political ‘battles’, Igbokwe, a Special Adviser on drainage and water resources to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has praised supporters of the party and President Buhari for their doggedness.

According to him in a Facebook post on Thursday, they have crushed all lies against Buhari and Nigeria. He added without revealing those he was referring to that “we will teach them a lesson in 2023.”
