Mr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the current Governor of Kano State, has extended his regards to Senator Kashim Shettima over his selection as the running mate to Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu, the flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead the 2023 general election.
As seen in a statement exclusively obtained by Track News Nigeria but issued by the Commissioner for Information, Mallam Muhammad Garba in Kano on Tuesday.
The Kano Governor claimed that Shetima is highly quick-witted and prepared for the Office of the Vice President.
In his speech, during the pre-presidential primaries campaign, he shared a common experience with Shettima who played a vibrant role and brings to fore his qualification, competence and exposure.
He maintained the confidence that the representative of Borno Central Senatorial District and a former two-term governor of Borno state is a good nomination that will take Nigeria to greater heights.
However, the northern Governor urged the citizens of the country especially the members of the APC to drum around its presidential lead and his running mate to ensure their emergence.
Ganduje appreciated the APC flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for making a decision of Shetima and describing the duo as a rest of mind to he success of the party at the polls.
