Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya, the current Governor of Gombe State, has praised Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu’s choice of Senator Kashim Shettima while describing it as a masterstroke.
Adding that by making the Shettima as the running mate, the party would be able to easily win the forthcoming 2023 general election, Gov. Yahaya made this known as seen in a statement published by the Director-General of Press Affairs of the Government House, DG Ismaila Misilli.
Gov. Yahaya claimed that the selected running mate was a marvelous asset to the ruling party and would be of great importance to the APC presidential ticket as a committed and dedicated member of the ruling party.
According to him, “Asiwaju would not have made a better choice. The former Borno State Governor is a highly cerebral, eloquent, competent, courageous and cosmopolitan leader who has succeeded in building bridges, reputation and friendships across the country; and I believe he has the capacity, acumen and political sagacity to deputise the ‘Jagaban.”
