Festus Keyamo (SAN), the spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has on Friday compared Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential flag-bearer of the party, to the winner of the 1993 presidential election, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) Abiola.
Track News Nigeria understands that the late Abiola whose travails formed the inception of a new Democracy Day in Nigeria was deemed a repository of sagacity who laced his statements with African wisdom.
Keyamo, who doubles as the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, made a comparison between the late politician and his principal.
On his Twitter account, he wrote: “With the events of the last few days when some buffoons tried to ridicule the parables of @officialABAT & ended up like jokes themselves, it appears @officialABAT has resurrected the effective style of MKO Abiola who regaled us with African proverbs on his campaign trail in 1993.”
