Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

On Sunday, Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, a member of the All Progressives Congress, paid a visit to Governor Nyesom Wike.
According to Track News, Governor Umahi met with Governor Wike on Sunday at his country home in Rumuepirikom, Port Harcourt.

The governors met behind closed doors, but the details of their discussion were not made public.

Governor Umahi will pay Governor Wike a second visit at his residence since the Peoples Democratic Party crisis began.

On June 18th, Governor Umahi paid a visit to the former presidential candidate at his home.

The meeting with Governor Wike, according to Umahi, was cordial and brotherly.

The duo did not provide details about their meeting, leading to speculation that they were planning to collaborate in the general elections in 2023.

Despite efforts by the main opposition party to reconcile Governor Wike, Governor Umahi, a former PDP member, has now met with him twice.

Since the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, chose Delta State Governor as the party’s vice presidential candidate, the Rivers State Governor has remained silent on the PDP’s activities.
