2023: What Kwankwaso Told INEC About His Education, Occupation

The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, unlike the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, provided all his academic credentials.
The Independent National Electoral Commission released the particulars of candidates contesting in the 2023 general election.

The former Governor of Kano State in the document spotted noted that he bagged his first leaving certificate in 1968 and his secondary school certificate in 1975.

The 66-year-old also stated that he has Craft Training Certificate, ND, HND, Post Graduate Diploma, M.Sc and PhD.

He attached a copy of his provisional PhD certificate with his thesis on the Design and Construction of the Irrigation System in Northern Nigeria.

Kwankwaso before joining politics worked at Water Resources and Engineering Construction Agency (WRECA) for over 15 years where he resigned in 1991.

The NNPP Presidential candidate has served as governor, lawmaker and minister.
