Any PDP member who associates with Prince Uche Secondus, the party’s former national chairman, would face the wrath of Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.
According to Tracknews , Wike made the threat on Saturday during the groundbreaking ceremony for internal roads in Omagwa, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.
According to the governor, anyone who collaborates with Secondus is an enemy of the state, and he will battle everyone who opposes him.
“If someone fights against our system, we will fight that person back,” he declared.
“Let me tell you something about politics that you don’t comprehend. When you say you’re working with us but then the next day switch to our opponent, we’ll use every force at our disposal—we’ll even abandon our enemy—to finish you off first.
I’ll get to every last one of you who is returning to Abuja to meet with our adversaries in the state.
“We ousted the Chairman of the National Party who was not doing well. We all agreed that since they were all present, they should go to Abuja to meet with the man we had to have removed. They believe that if they do, we will defeat them.
Wike oversaw Secondus’ ouster as the party’s national chairman in 2021.
