2023 WWC: Super Falcons know group opponents Saturday

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will know their foes in the group stage of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Saturday.

The draw ceremony will take place in Auckland, New Zealand.

The competition will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

The Super Falcons have been placed in Pot 4 alongside the other African representatives, South Africa, Morocco and Zambia.

Randy Waldrum’s side could face some of the biggest heavyweights in world football like holders, United States of America, Netherlands, Spain, Japan, France, England and Germany in the first round of the competition.

The nine-time African champions reached the knockout rounds of the 2019 World Cup hosted by France
