38-year-old Nigerian to be deported after spending 12 years in jail for r+pĩng a teen six weeks after arriving in the U.K

Lazarus Olleh, an Identified Nigerian-based in the United Kingdom, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for r+ping a teenager six weeks after getting to Uk..

It was gathered from sources that Olleh is also to be deported to Nigeria once the prison sentence is completed. The 38-year-old Nigerian bagged the sentence after he was tried at Hull Crown Court on Wednesday, freshreporters media had gathered.

The r+pe incident was said to have happened on 29th of October, 2022. On the night of the incident, Olleh was said to have targeted the then 18-year-old lone victim who was reportedly drunk at the time.

The victim was returning from a Halloween-themed event at a nightclub in the city when she ran into Olleh.

On sighting the victim, Olleh was said to have approached her. After engaging her in a short conversation, he then led her to his car.

According to Ethan Anderson, a detective constable at Humberside Police, Olleh sat the victim in the passenger seat and subsequently drove her to a nearby flat where he r+ped her.

The victim was later dropped off in the New Bridge Road area of the city, where she sought assistance from her friends.

Olleh, of Belmont Street, Hull, denied r+ping the woman but he was convicted by a jury at Hull Crown Court after a retrial spanning about seven days. An earlier jury in April had been unable to reach a verdict.

“Olleh is a clear d+nger to women; he was waiting for an opportunity that night to take and r+pe a girl,” Anderson said.

According to reports, Olleh had only just arrived the UK from Nigeria and spent six weeks in the country when the incident happened.…
