Oyetola reacts to death of former Supreme Court Judge, Babalakin

Osun Governor, Gboyega Oyetola has mourned the passing of Former Supreme Court Judge, Pa Bolarinwa Oyegoke Babalakin, who died on Saturday.

Babalakin died on Saturday at the age of 94.

Oyetola in a condolence message to Babalakin’s family and the entire Muslim community said the former Supreme Court Judge would be greatly missed.

Ismail Omipidan, the Chief Press Secretary to Oyetola in a statement released said the ex-Supreme Court Judge lived a pious, worthy and exemplary life that was devoted to the service of Allah and humanity.

In his words, “Death, as we all know is inevitable. But we are always pained by the death of our loved ones. The late Pa Bolarinwa’s death is a huge loss to the State.

“He lived a pious, fulfilled and exemplary life that was devoted to the service of Allah and humanity. Baba was peace-loving. I pray Allah to forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Al-Jannah Firdaus.”
