Christmas: Traders Caught Reducing Rice Bag Quantity, Nigerians React
After being caught reducing the quantity of rice bags in an undisclosed location, some traders sparked outrage online.
As the price of rice continues to rise in the Nigerian market on a daily basis, it is concerning to see that some people are still out to defraud people.
A man can be heard in the background of the viral video explaining how traders remove a paint of rice from each bag before selling it in the market.
Many Nigerians expressed their displeasure with the video on social media.
“We are our country’s problem, not just the government!” wrote laviva mandi. The government is me and you; you and I are also the government. What a pity, man’s heart”
“When they go to their various houses, they would talk about how wicked and corrupt our leaders are,” ikaks d wrote.
“Man, Bro, all na hustle,” franny taurusbred wrote. Just pray that you don’t buy half a bag of rice and end up paying for the whole bag.”
“The first time I saw this in sango, I was gobsmacked,” ayinke omoh wrote.
