With 21 days to the 2023 elections, the people of Aba in Abia State have pitched their tenth with the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
They disclosed this while cheering Obi during his walk from Bata junction to Azikiwe Road in Aba, Abia State.
Prior to the walk, Obi had visited the Aba Sports Club for a town hall meeting, where thousands of Aba people received him.
Also, the Obiedients Across Party Alliance, OAPA, adopted Obi as president.
Comrade Chetachi Ikpe, the leader of the OAPA called on Aba’s potential voters to ensure that Obi and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of the state win the 2023 presidential elections and Abia South senatorial seat.
Ikpe made the call during the Town Hall meeting between Obi, Aba residents and the business community at the Aba Sports Club.
OAPA, whose membership cut across the All Progressives Congress, APC, All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Labour Party, LP, insisted that a lot of people who have corrupt tendencies and questionable characters are seeking refuge in LP across the country using Obi as shades to win elections in 2023.
Ikpe said the body will ensure that only credible candidates win elections irrespective of the political parties
