Gremio president gives worrying update on Luis Suarez’s career
Gremio’s president, Alberto Guerra has provided a worrying update on the striker, Luis Suarez’s future amid the player’s fitness.
Guerra believes Suarez may be nearing the end of his iconic career as he might have to undergo a prosthesis.
Suarez joined Gremio in January and has since netted 11 goals and registered eight assists in 25 matches across all competitions for the club.
The former Barcelona and Liverpool striker, though, is suffering from a knee injury.
Speaking about Suarez, Guerra said (via O Jogo): “He has the possibility of having a prosthesis, the matter is serious.
“Many injections, many medications. He is reaching the limit, but when the limit is, we don’t know.”
