Saudis threaten Chelsea plans for Caicedo
Saudi Football League is threatening Chelsea plans as Premier League side Brighton have received an offer worth more than £80 million for Moises Caicedo.
London club Chelsea were thought to be the only contenders for Caicedo’s signature.
However, Sky Sports News states that a club in Saudi Arabia has put in an offer for the Ecuadorian.
The first report came from the Daily Express, where Brighton claimed to have received the bid, but did not name the bidder.
The offer is said to have been rejected, as the Albion are holding out for an even higher sum.
Brighton want a fee close to what West Ham have received for Declan Rice, which is £106 million.
