Kano State Hisbah Board has issued a two-week deadline for offenders to repent or exit Kano.
The Commandant of Kano State Hisbah, Malam Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, has stated that individuals promoting immoral behaviors must either repent or depart from Kano within a two-week period.
After a conciliatory meeting with the Governor of Kano State, Malam Daurawa emphasized that the recent disagreement with the Governor will actually enhance the effectiveness of the Hisbah operation.

He mentioned that a form titled ‘I have repented’ has been produced by the commission, encouraging individuals involved in promoting immorality to step aside or be ready to depart from Kano.
With the reconciliation, the Governor has earnestly pleaded for him to stay on as the Kano Commandant of Hisbah and implement reforms to cleanse Kano State of any further immoral activities.
