Nyesom Wike Gives New Orders on Reopening of Schools, Churches, Others
TRACKING___Amid the continuous spread of Coronavirus across the nation, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has issued new orders on the reopening of churches, Schools, Banks and other business establishments.
The new directives were made public via series of tweets on his twitter handle.
The Governor warned that the incumbent government will not relent to prosecute owners of hotels, restaurants, banks, and other business establishments who do not enforce social distancing and use of face mask instead their premises.
The Governor further revealed that motor parks, public and private schools, and churches would be decontaminated.
“All public and private schools will be decontaminated before schools reopen. Churches and motorparks will also be decontaminated.
“This issue of COVID-19 is real and the government will not hesitate to seal up and prosecute owners of banks, shopping malls, restaurants, shops, business places or offices that fail to enforce social distancing and the wearing of face masks in their premises.
“The decontamination team does not compromise standards but put in your best to ensure the entire state is decontaminated”, Wike tweeted.
Recall that use of face mask, regular washing of hands and use of hand sanitizer are effective measures of curtailing the spread of Coronavirus.
