Be resolute, hopeful of victory -Ebifemowei
The APC Candidate for the forthcoming Senatorial bye-elections, Chief Abel Ebifemowei has expressed gratitude to his party stalwarts, teeming supporters and the electorate for believing in his capacity to deliver the dividends of democracy as Senator to represent the good people of Bayelsa Central.
He also urged them to be resolute in their stand, stressing that they should not lose hope of victory because elections will surely come as we await a new date from Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the weeks ahead.
Chief Ebifemowei is particularly grateful to his political mentor Chief Timipre Sylva, Opu-Abadi 1, the Hon. Minister of Petroleum (State) and leader of the All Progressive Party in Bayelsa State, whom he described as a great leader of with a big heart for the development of our State and Niger Delta, for his love and invaluable support towards a better Ijaw nation, Bayelsa Central and Southern Ijaw in particular.
The Senatorial Candidate Chief Abel Ebifemowei who also holds the Chieftaincy title of Osuwo 1, poured encomiums on South South Leader of the All Progressives Congress Chief David Lyon, saying that his humility and good leadership has endeared our people, bringing unity and more strength to the party machinery in the State.
He also expressed appreciation to the Senator representing Bayelsa East in the National Assembly, Chief Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo and Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli, representing Brass Constituency in the Green Chambers for their unalloyed support and advise from the beginning of his aspiration to this moment and prayed for their continued support in this endeavor.
Chief Abel Ebifemowei whose campaign team has been consulting stakeholders wide across Yenagoa, Kolokuma/Opokuma and Southern Ijaw LGAs that make up his Senatorial district, could not find words to express gratitude and appreciation his brother in the House of Representatives, Hon. Preye Influence Oseke who has contributed immensely to the success of his campaigns on road and water to the glory of God.
The Osuwo 1 of Niger Delta recalls his efforts of his senatorial consultative team prior to the postponement of the bye-elections and commitments enjoyed from former Ag. Governor Chief Werinipere Seibarugu, Great Joshua MacIver, Paul Eris (Ogunboss), Chief Frank Dogood, HRH Ovie Owen Omeleh, Hon. Osom Blankson, Chief Stephen Bekefula, Chief Diekivie Ikiogha, Rev. Reuben Wilson, Barr. Godknows Powell, Chief Chubby Ben-Walson, Dr Ishari, RT. Hon Fini Angaye, Mr Diepreye Abaye Leghemo and a host of others, including leaders of social and political organisations for support and urged them not to relent until we win.
A man of the people, popularly called King of the youths, the Rain Maker, Empowerment Machine, etc, Chief Abel Ebifemowei is appealing to the Bayelsa Central electorate to get their PVCs ready to vote for APC and elect him as Senator on the new date that will be announced by INEC in November 2020.
