Mininum Wage: National Assembly Workers To Embark On Strike On Monday
Members of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) and the National Assembly chapters of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) will be embarking on a strike from Monday January 10.
They also asked the management to pay them, with immediate effect, eight months outstanding balance of minimum wage; 2021 rent subsidy, 15 months arrears of CONPECULIAR Allowance and six months arrears of hazard allowance.
The communique also added:-
“In addition to the MOU, the congress also demands implementation of 50% balance of CONLESS, immediate release of the year 2022 training template for staff, evidence of provision of gratuity for retiring staff.”
