A KISS ON THE DIAMOND: THE AMBASSADOR IS 60 By Mie Ogidi

••It’s Diamond jubilee.

TRACKING_____Turning 60 is a huge milestone for anyone. There are many things to be grateful for after living your life for six decades.

For the celebrant (Amb. Godknows Boladei Igali), it’s been sixty years of amazing grace and blessings.

Historically, Amb. Godknows Igali and his twin brother were borne just less than a year when the killing of twins was stopped (they narrowly escaped infanticide, thanks to Mary Slessor). However, after scaling through this age long tradition, Ambassador Igali came to this world as a dead child but was fortunately revived; all glory to God! Out of sheer joy, the ecstatically elated grandfather named him ” Godknows ”, because of the miraculous manner life was restored.

Today, he’s one of Nigeria’s finest career Ambassadors, Seasoned administrator, globally acclaimed author, former federal permanent secretary and former secretary to the Bayelsa state government.

Taking a trip to the circumstances that surrounded his birth and the heights he has attained at 60, God has indeed shown uncommon favour.

Better is the end than the beginning thereof. The years ahead will even be more full filling and productive.

Congratulations and HBD AMB. (DR) Godknows Boladei Igali, OON.
