Rep. Benjamin O. Kalu, spokesperson, House of Representatives has congratulated Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike, the PDP candidate in the just concluded Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency bye-election.
Recall that Ebesike was declared winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Sunday.
Reacting, Kalu in a statement he personally signed welcomed Ebesike to the house and promised to provide every assistance required for his success.
“Now that elections are over, the task of governance begins. Collective effort is required to build Abia State, I am therefore happy to provide every assistance required for his success in the House.
“It is my hope that Hon. Ebisike will be magnanimous in victory and discharge all responsibilities of his mandate with utmost diligence.
“Once again, congratulations and welcome to the National Assembly.”
