Abortion: Fake doctor, two women held over teen’s death

TRACKING____A SELF-acclaimed medical doctor and two women have been arrested by police in Imo State for allegedly causing the death of a teenage girl through abortion.

The girl identified as Peace from Umuagwu, Umuoma Nekede in Owerri West council of the state, died while trying to abort a five-month pregnancy.

A source said Peace was impregnated by a man, now at large, to whom she cannot be married because they are closely related.

Police spokesman SP Orlando Ikeokwu did not get back to the reporter before press time.
