Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

According to Bola Abimbola-Ige, a lawyer for a family whose two people were slain in Ede, Osun State, due to electoral generosity, CSP Isaac Omoyele, the governor-elect Ademola Adeleke’s designated chief security officer, admits to killing Abideen Olalekan.

CSP Isaac Omoyele is accused of killing Abideen and Kafayat Olalekan on August 5 after leading his team to the victims’ home. Also destroyed was the home.

Abimbola-Ige, who spoke with the reporter, verified that the police performed an autopsy on the victim at the Osun State University Teaching Hospital in Osogbo.

“Police just performed the autopsy in my presence and that of the deceased’s family members, after conducting the requisite inquiries and questioning the main suspect, CSP Omoyele and his colleagues, as well as the complainants.

“The suspected police officer, CSP Omoyele, only admitted to killing one individual; he didn’t dispute the killing. Only the murder of Abideen Olalekan was acknowledged by him. He claimed not to be the murderer of Kafayat Olalekan.

Mrs. Rukayat Olalekan Olasoji, the deceased’s younger sister, stated that justice is all that the family is looking for.

We don’t want this issue to be overlooked, she declared.
