The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike has warned the Interim National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, David Mark, Interim Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, and former Rivers governor, Rotimi Amaechi, over their latest comments that Nigerians are angry with President Bola Tinubu.

Wike said history will hold Mark, Aregbesola, Amaechi and all members of the coalition responsible for the problems Nigerians are facing.

Speaking during his monthly media chat in Abuja on Thursday, Wike accused Mark of failure during his eight-year reign as Senate President.

He also accused Amaechi of pushing Nigerians into foreign loan debts when he was the Minister of Transportation.

“I heard David Mark say they want to rescue Nigeria, Nigerians are angry. He was Senate President for eight years, were Nigerians happy? There was no single project in Otukpo – Nigerians were not angry then, they are only angry now?

When Amaechi was minister for eight years, Nigerians were not angry, when Nigeria became indebted, Chinese loan, Nigerians were happy; it’s now that they are angry

“It’s unfortunate that they will use Nigerians to play politics up and down. When you are angry with me Nigerians were not happy, the only time Nigerians are happy is when you are in power, the moment you are no longer in power, Nigerians are angry.

“You do anything for Tinubu Nigerians are angry, I saw Hadi Sirika. What happened to Air Nigeria – Nigerians are happy. What I’m saying is that they claim Nigerians are angry, they want to rescue Nigeria. So I’m asking this question about what happened to Air Nigeria.

“I heard what Malami said, it’s so embarrassing and looked so foolish, why are they using the words Nigerians are angry? You were a Senate President for eight years, so what did you do to make Nigerians angry?

“I challenge anybody, when you were there what contribution did you make? History will hold you responsible. When in position what was your contribution in making sure were we are today, we are not there?”
