The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has prayed that terrorism in the North-East Nigeria will end soon.

The renowned clergyman on Saturday (today), prayed that God will restore the glory of the region including other parts of the country troubled by terrorism.

Tracknews.ng reports that Adeboye made the declaration in a Facebook post after the ‘Light Up Nigeria’ outreach in Gombe State which was organised as part of activities to mark his 80th birthday.

Adeboye wrote, “The Glory of the North Eastern Part of Nigeria will be restored by God’s grace.

“I use Gombe state as a point of contact: that as the light of God came down powerfully during the @reach4christ Crusade, the light of God descends upon every troubled parts of our dear Nation Nigeria.”

Meanwhile, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami has said that the Federal Government will take action against identified terrorism financiers soon.

Tracknews.ng recall that the Buhari-led government had earlier disclosed that it had discovered some Nigerians supporting Boko Haram terrorists and the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP).

During a press conference, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said the terrorism sponsors were fished out by the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU).

Mohammed added that the NFIU discovered 424 associates/supporters of the financiers, about 123 companies and 33 bureaux de change linked with terrorism.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television recently, Malami stated that the names of the sponsors of terrorism in the country will be unveiled soon.

Malami called on Nigerians to exercise patience, saying that the citizens will get something tangible regarding the development in a couple of weeks.

The minister added that the prosecution of the identified terrorism sponsors is a work in progress and will be done before the end of the expiration of the Buhari government.

Malami assured Nigerians that the process have been consummated in line with the dictates of the law.
