Shola Adedoyin, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Kogi State, is said to have resigned from the opposition party.
According to reports obtained by Track News on Wednesday morning (today), the prominent opposition party member has also declared his support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Adedoyin has now aligned himself with the country’s ruling party ahead of the 2023 elections.

Adedoyin confirmed his defection to the APC during a meeting last week in Abuja with the Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. James Faleke.

The former Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor of Kogi State is also said to have declared support for Sunday Karimi, the APC senatorial candidate for Kogi West.

“It is time to move on. From here, things can only get better. In 2023, it’s Tinubu or nothing. “We are winning hands down, and the big journey has just begun,” Adedoyin is said to have said while reaffirming his support for the APC.
