Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the state governor-elect and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council in Osun State, has made a promise to the party’s flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, ahead of the 2023 general election.
While speaking at the inauguration of the Osun State Chapter of the Campaign Council in Osogbo, the governor-elect promised to deliver Osun State to Atiku in the upcoming general elections.

He stated that Atiku as president would benefit Osun and assist him in accomplishing his goals as governor.

“As your Governor in Osun State, I need a federal President of our party to support me as I deliver our five-point agenda to the good people of Osun State,” he said. An Atiku Presidency will strengthen our state and help us overcome the many challenges we face.

“Nigeria requires an Atiku presidency because he has the most current, relevant, and responsive manifesto of any presidential candidate.” His plan for Nigeria aligns with the Osun people’s desires for Federation restructuring, local government autonomy, anti-corruption, better infrastructure, national unity in diversity, and good governance.”

He believes that with Atiku at the helm of power, Nigeria will be propelled to new heights both locally and internationally.

He urged the people of Osun to repeat the same sacrifices made in the state election at the national level.

“Let us go out there and mobilize our people.” Let us march out again, as we did in the governorship election, to win Osun with even larger margins for the PDP.

“Our mission is to deliver the entire Osun vote for the Atiku/Okowa ticket.” “It’s doable, and we have to deliver,” he added.

The event was attended by the Deputy Governor-elect of Osun State, Prince Sunday Adewusi, the state secretary of the party, Otunba Femi Careena, the Chairman of the Adeleke Transition Committee, Dr Muyiwa Oladimeji, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Akogun Lere Oyewumi, Hon Niyi Owolade, Hon Kolapo Alimi, Dr Peter Babalola
