According to a news that was published by The Nigerian Tribune paper Online this morning, it was reported that Dr Umar Ardo, who happens to be the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in Adamawa State, and a four-time guber aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), during an interview with Tribune’s correspondent, has reminded Nigerians on how President Muhammadu Buhari, reneged on his promises after the 2011 presidential election.

While he was talking, he said that after the 2011 presidential election, that was won by former president Goodluck Jonathan, Ardo said President Muhammadu Buhari, who also contested then but lost, promised not to go to court but, he went.

He said, “After Jonathan won 2011 presidential election, Buhari said he won’t go to court but he went. President Muhammadu Buhari said he would not go to Tribunal, yet he went to Tribunal and who among you journalists, has investigated the formation of the All Progressives Congress ? Yes, El-Rufai was part of those who did the paperwork then, but I was the one doing the strategic thinking and driving between 2011 and 2013.”

Further talking, he said, “Who was ahead of me in the intervening period of two years ? Nobody.”
