TRACKING____Gunmen have again shot and killed a middle-aged man identified as Hamisu Yangayya at Yangayya village in Batsari Council Area of Katsina State.
The gunmen stormed the village in large numbers on Tuesday night and shot sporadically into the air to announce their presence.
They also abducted 14 persons, including women and children and whisked them into the Rugu forest after ransacking several homes during the operation and took away valuables, including money and foodstuff.But The Guardian learnt that one of those abducted escaped and ran back to the village yesterday morning to narrate his ordeal.
As at time of filing this report, the fate of the 13 others remain unknown and the abductors had not called to ask for ransom for their release.
