Agbere Community Rallies Behind Chief (Pst) Reid Aladei for Amananaowei Throne
In a continued push for broad community engagement, Mr. Padeware Aladeh on Friday, April 4, 2025, held a strategic and fruitful meeting with youth groups, women, and men of Agbere community in Tarakiri Kingdom, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. The discussion focused on the importance of unity and collective support for Chief (Pastor) Reid Aladei as the preferred candidate for the upcoming selection of the Amananaowei (traditional ruler) of Agbere.The grassroots gathering, which started at Bina’s Bar and concluded at Terry’s Bar, brought together a diverse section of the community. Mr. Aladeh emphasized the need for continued support and consolidation of efforts as the official date for the throne selection, scheduled for April 26, 2025, approaches.Speaking at the event, Aladeh called on all indigenes and residents of Agbere, particularly the youth and women, to stand behind Chief (Pst) Reid Aladei. He highlighted the candidate’s longstanding service to the community, moral uprightness, and leadership capacity as key reasons for his endorsement.He also stressed that the Amananaowei stool is not only a symbol of tradition but also a crucial institution for fostering development, unity, and peace in the community.
