The first lady, Aisha Buhari seems to have resumed her break from the social media and condemning appointees of her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari.

The President’s wife on Sunday took a swipe at the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami while reacting to his video.

Aisha in a post on Instagram had shared a video showing the minister shedding tears during one of his sermons.

Pantami cried after the reciter read a verse of the Holy Quran.

The reciter from Surah Maryam, Verse 63 read, “That is the Garden we shall give as their own to those of Our servants who were devout.”

In response, Pantami sobbed, “O Allah! Make me one of them. O, Allah! Make me one of them!”

Aisha who shared the video on her platform wrote a short message in Hausa.

“A chire tsoro a yi abinda ya dace”, which can be interpreted as “Be courageous to do the right thing”.

However, it is not clear why Aisha post the video on her account and the statement shared alongside.

The first last at different occasion has criticised her husband or his appointees.
