The Ondo State governor, Lucky Aiyedatiawa and 12 other governors of the All Progressives Congress are in closed door meeting in Abuja.
This is the first time the Ondo State governor, who recently took over mantle of governance in Ondo State due to the death of the former governor, Rotimi Akeredolu would be attending Progressive Governors Forum ( PGF) meeting
Other governors in attendance were: Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Kogi, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Gombe, Nasir Idris, Kebbi, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, Lagos, Mai Mala Buni, Yobe, Lucky Aiyedatiawa, Ondo, Senator Hope Uzodinma, Imo, Umar Namadi, Jigawa, Francis Nwifuru Ebonyi
Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, Sokoto, Senator Uba Sani, Kaduna, Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Ekiti AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, Kwara, Senator Bassey Otu, Cross River and Dapo Abiodun, Ogun.
The res of the meeting was not made clear but feelers around the Imo State governor’s lodge suggest it has to do with the off-season governorship and by-elections.
Other APC chieftains that came to the venue of the meeting and left were: former APC National Chairman, Senator Adams Oshiomhole and the APC Deputy National Chairman (South) Chief Emma Enukwu.
