Mr. Yomi Akingbade, an agriculturalist and All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain based in the United States, has urged Nigerians of all faiths to focus on Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima’s capability and competence.
In his reaction to Shettima’s official unveiling, Akingbade noted that Tinubu and his running mate have demonstrated capacity and competence for good governance, with commendable track records as former governors of Lagos and Borno, respectively.
“In 1993, most Nigerians voted for Abiola and Kingibe, who were Muslim-Muslim candidates at the time, and they won,” he explained. Nigerians focused on Abiola and Kingibe’s ability and competence in 1993. As a result, Nigerians should keep Tinubu and Shettima’s capacity and competence in mind in 2023. Both would be extremely proud of their country, Nigeria.”
