Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

Some All Progressives Congress, APC, stakeholders, and party stalwarts protested the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket on the streets of Lagos on Monday.
The demonstrators marched peacefully from Ikeja’s Shoprite mall to Alausa’s Central Business District’s State House. They were led by the Coalition of APC Stakeholders Network and the Southwest Tinubu Supporters.

Protesters carried banners and chanted songs as they walked through the heavy traffic caused by the demonstration, calling for Kashim Shettima, the former governor of Borno state, to resign as vice presidential candidate.

‘Dear Baba Asiwaju, Let Shettima Step Down in Yoruba Interest,’ one banner read, ‘President Buhari and Tinubu should reconsider the Muslim-Muslim ticket,’ another said, ‘Tinubu, replace Shettima with a Christian VP to balance the ticket.’

Charly Boy Slams El-Rufai for Remarks About Peter Obi Veteran Nigerian singer, Charly Boy

has responded to Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-remark rufai’s that some Nigerians are planning a 2 million-man march in support of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi.
It will be remembered that El-Rufai mocked the proposed two million march for Peter Obi in Kaduna state.

On Twitter, Charlyboy blasted El-Rufai, saying the Kaduna Governor should be more concerned with the challenges confronting his state than the planned march for Peter Obi.

“Can you imagine a clannish clown, El Rufai, who owes workers salary?” he asked on Twitter. Kaduna is now the state with the highest terrorism rate. It was once a very peaceful state, but it is now a haven for bandits. Many victims of the Kaduna train attack remain hostages. The only thing that worries dis clown is the one million March pass issued to Peter Obi supporters. Nonsense.”
