Call On Atiku, PDP Governors to Wake Up.

Adeleye Kunle reporting for TrackNews

Hon. Ogidi Ben Bara, former Director-General of the House-to-House Campaign Organization for Jonathan/Sambo 2015 and Chief Executive Officer of TrackNews Online, has urged the PDP leadership to recognize Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, for his efforts in keeping the party afloat until now, TrackNews reports.

It is interesting to know that Wike laboured to build the opposition, hence should not be disparaged

Atiku Abubakar and other PDP governors should appeal and listen to Gov Wike, who is one of the strongest backbone of the party. PDP leaders should not relent in keeping Gov Wike in PDP because of his consistent efforts to make the nation great.

The PDP should try to understand him and then to make room for him and other aggrieved members. When the builders become enraged, you embrace them!”

Since Atiku chose Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate, the PDP has been in disarray.

To this end, we urged Atiku to reach out to Wike, who finished second in the party’s presidential primary for necessary and relevant reconciliation.

In comparison, when a child is dissatisfied and begins crying, every effort is made to appease him; however, if he continues to cry and wailing, he will be left alone, and those seeking to appease him will adopt a wait and see attitude in the expectation that once he becomes tired, he will keep quiet. Wike should not take his argument to that extreme.

He must also avoid becoming the easy and convenient reference in the event that the PDP loses the 2023 Presidential election, or the punchline in the event that the party wins. Except if you are cut in the mold of Obafemi Awolowo, no tree makes a forest.
