– APGA has announced one million march to advocate for peace during the 2019 election

– The rally is aimed at appealing to desist from acts capable of destroying Nigeria’s hard earned democracy

– The party also urged Nigerians not to be distracted by paper weight politicians

The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has said that party will mobilise all youths Nigeria for a grand one million mega rally in Awka, Anambra state.

The party said the rally is an appeal to politicians to desist from acts capable of destroying Nigeria’s hard earned democracy

A statement by APGA’s national president, Umezinwa Micheal, said the national chairman of the party Victor Oye has called on Nigerian politicians to remember everything not about 2019 election but the preservation of the next generation.

The chairman said it is important for Nigerians not to be distracted by paper weight politicians, crisis entrepreneurs who are always scared of grass-root transformation and redefinition of politics going on in APGA.

According to Michael, the integration of youths in Anambra state government and supervision of people oriented free and fair primary elections from presidential to the least office can all be accredited to Oye .

The statement said: “It is easier for an elephant to go through the eye of the needle than concluding a National, state and local government primaries in a big party like APGA through pockets of solvable political issues.”

“We appeal to those sponsoring this face-less groups to desist from such act and join Dr Victor Oye to build a united third force capable of clinching the presidential election come 2019. Failure to do so we the anambra youths would be forced to initiate a call back process of any National or State Assembly members confirmed to be part of this unrealizable political misadventure.

As we mobilize all the youths country-wide for a grand one million unity APGA rally in awka, we appeal to politicians to say no to any act capable of destroying our hard earned democracy. They should remember that it is not all about next election but next generation; hence all hand must be united towards safeguarding it,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, TRACKNEWS.NG previously reported that the governorship aspirants of the APGA have protested against the party for reportedly organising primary election where only two aspirants participated out of the 15 screened for the election.
