Chairman of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) Wale Adebayo is confident that the party’s candidate, Awoyemi Lukman, will win the election.

Adebayo said the party is prepared to ensure victory for its candidate by embarking on rigorous campaign across the local government areas. He condemned vote-buying and the use of thugs during election saying, “if we refuse to curb the use of political thugs, it will affect the process. We are confident of winning the poll despite that we are not engaging in vote-buying and political thugs.”

He called for a peaceful election, and warned social media users against spreading hate speech and fake news.
