Appointment Of NIMASA DG, Round Peg In Round Hole – Spokesman

TRACKING____The spokesman and Head of Corporate Communications of Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) Philip Kyanet has said that the appointment of Dr. Bashir Jamoh is putting a round Peg in a round hole.

He stated this on Friday when speaking with in Lagos.

According to him, there is no any better choice in this challenging time than Dr Bashir Jamoh to lead the much needed reform and consolidation.

He said that Dr Jamoh is the first to be appointed within the organization since it’s Establishment, saying all past Director Generals were appointed from outside the Agency .

Kyanet said Dr Jamoh who has spent over 27 years in the system is a better position to lead the administration to achieve its well set mission and goals.

He further stated that with Dr. Jamoh appointment, the presidency has put a round peg in a round hole, saying it will spark the necessary reform in the sector.

He thanked President Buhari for looking inward and appointing Dr. Jamoh who worked closely with the former DG Peterside Dakuku.

He described Dr. Jamoh as a man of impeccable character, dedicated and focused man.
