The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has demanded the arrest of Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho.

Ibrahim Jiji, the Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of MACBAN asked the state Governor, Seyi Makinde to arrest Igboho over his quit notice to Fulani herdsmen in Southwest.

Following killings, kidnapping and criminal activities, Igboho had ordered herdsmen in Ibarapa North Local Government of the state to leave the state.

However, Jiji appealed to Makinde to arrest Igboho because he is not more powerful than Nigeria.

Speaking in Ibadan over the weekend, the MACBAN Chairman said: “We want the government to arrest Igboho now. He is not more powerful than the whole country.

“We want Makinde to consider us as part of his children.

“We also voted for him in 2019 and we want him to extend his hand of fellowship to us.”
