Adeleye Kunle Reports

Hector Bellerin, an Arsenal defender, wants his contract terminated so he can return to Spain, according to TrackNews.

Bellerin spent last season on loan at Real Betis before returning to Arsenal this summer.

With the fullback effectively being the third choice behind Takehiro Tomisayu and Cedric Soares, he is desperate to leave this time for good.

However, Betis is unable to reach an agreement with Arsenal on a fee for Bellerin, and the player wishes to expedite the transfer.

Barcelona is interested in their former player as well.

Both clubs are said to be willing to wait until September 1, believing Arsenal will let him leave as a free agent.
