Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, will sanction a move for Lyon’s Lucas Paqueta if the Gunners fail to sign Youri Tielemans from Leicester City between now and next week’s transfer deadline, according to TrackNews.
Arsenal has already signed a handful of new players since the end of last season but is said to be keen on adding more quality to their ranks before the summer window finally closes in September.
Paqueta is keen to leave Lyon this summer to join a Premier League club.
Arsenal will have to battle the likes of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, who are also interested in the Brazilian midfielder.
