ASANAKPO JOINS OTHERS TO BID FAREWELL TO BAYELSA STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR MOTHER-IN- LAW’S HOME CALL.

The acting Chairman of Bayelsa State Volunteers, Hon. Oyinkuro Lucky Asanakpo, accompanied other dignaries including His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, Executive Governor of the State and other top government functionaries, to attend the funeral service of Late Ezinne Eunice Eberechukwu Loveday Tasie in Ibaa Town, Emohua LGA, Rivers State.

Mrs Ezinne Eunice, the mother in-law of His Excellency, Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, who died on the 3rd of February, 2021 at the age of 71 after a brief illness was laid to rest earlier today, Saturday 10th April 2023.

Until her glorious home call, Nne as she was fondly called was a devout Christian who worshiped with the Anglican Church. Mama was a woman of prayer, teacher and a fulfilled mother who believed strongly in formal education.

In attendance, were l members of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere. Also in attendance were honorable commissioners, aides of the governor, local government council Chairmen, political appointees of the prosperity administration, and clergymen.

Others who equally graced the occasion included, ACP Nengi Jephthah, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Rt Hon Talford Ongolo, former Chief of Staff Government House and former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Hon. Asanakpo in a brief chat with press paid glowing tribute to the departed soul adding that mama died a fulfilled life given the fact that all her children are highly placed in the society.

He prayed that the Lord will grant the deputy governor and his immediate family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
