Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Atiku Youth Connect (AYC), a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) support group, has stated that its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will form a government of national unity if elected in next year’s elections.
According to the group, which spoke in Abuja, Abubakar believes in one Nigeria and does not discriminate.
According to the statement, the PDP’s presidential candidate will restructure the country, address insecurity, and create the conditions for a thriving economy.
Speaking at a rally, Group Director-General Hajia Hassana Dada said Nigerians should expect reforms from Abubakar to turn the country’s fortunes around.
She stated that Abubakar, as vice president from 1999 to 2007, instituted a number of reforms that are still in place today.
Hajia Dada stated that Nigerians should expect changes in the health, education, transportation, and other sectors of the economy under his administration.
“We believe in Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s plans and programs, which is why we have come to show our support for him.”
“Some of the things Atiku brought on board as the country’s No. 2 man are still standing today.” “Abubakar believes in one Nigeria and is not prejudiced,” she said.
Mr Andrew Enatome, Chief of Staff to the PDP Chairman, stated that hunger, insecurity, a collapsing economy, and other issues on the verge of collapse will be prioritized.
“The PDP is not coming to play; government is a serious business, and we mean business,” he said. Nigeria is collapsing and on the verge of decay, so we need someone with extensive experience to bring it back to life.
“If you look at our policy document, you’ll see that we talked about resetting the country, restructuring it, addressing insecurity, and creating an enabling environment for a thriving economy.”
“The government will be built on 21st-century democracy, and the ASUU strike will be a thing of the past.” If Atiku Abubakar is elected president, youth will play a significant role in his administration.”
