Ayomide Ogungbe has been promoted to Remo Stars’ first team for the rest of the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Ogungbe’s promotion will help increase competition in the team’s midfield.

The youngster was one of the key stars in Remo Stars’ academy side, Beyond Limits.

The energetic midfielder won the Most Valuable Player award at the Viareggio Cup competition in Italy last year.

Ogungbe has already started training with the first team.

Remo Stars are already active in the transfer window having acquired the services of NPFL veterans, Ifeanyi Anaemena, and Junior Lokosa, as well as the likes of Akeem Taiwo, Gbenga Opamoye and Isah Aliyu
