Bandits Strike In Kaduna, Abduct 9, Demand N50m

Bandits in Kaduna state have abducted 9 people and are demanding a ransom of N50m.

The incident occurred in Dangilmi community in Kachi Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna chapter, Rev Joseph John Hayab confirmed the crime and stated that the kidnappers were demanding N50m as ransom.

The community where the crime was carried out is not far from Bethel Baptist High School where some students numbering over a hundred were abducted in July, 2021.

The reverend said: “they were abducted close to jakaranda and the bandits are demanding for N50 million ‎. Yesterday ,Friday, I got calls from the villagers and even their leaders and I told them what can we do in such a situation.”

In other news, a 22-year-old man has committed suicide over his inability to copulate with women.

The deceased, identified as Idris Shuaib hung himself on a tree in his father’s farm at Gwanara in the Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Shuaib’s uncle revealed that he killed himself because he was impotent.

The Public Relations Officer of the State Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Babawale Afolabi, corroborated the story stating that the deceased who was a graduate of Muideen College of Education, Ilorin committed suicide due to his impotence.

He said: “The lifeless body of a 22 years old NCE graduate, Idris Shuaib, was discovered dangling on a cashew tree. He reportedly hanged himself over his inability to copulate or sleep with women. According to the uncle of the deceased, Idris left home early on Thursday telling his father that he wanted to go to the farm as his usual routine not knowing that he had another motive this time around.

The deceased hanged himself inside his father’s farm located at Gwanara- Munduro road with the aid of rope and one jerry can. On Thursday, October 28, 2021, the NSCDC office in Gwanara, Baruten Local Government Area got a report about one Idris Shuaib, 22 who allegedly committed suicide in the farm citing his inability to copulate with women.’’
