BAYELSA APC CHIEFTAIN SHOT DEAD

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress APC in Bayelsa State, Sunday Frank-Oputu has been reportedly shot dead at his residence in Yenagoa, the state capital.

We gathered that Frank-Oputu who had served as State Chairman of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP), was shot dead through his window, while asleep by yet-to-be identified gunmen.

When contacted, the spokesman of the Bayelsa State Police Command, Superintendent of Police Asinim Bustwat, who confirmed the incident said details will be made available to journalists.
